An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Laskowski in the 38th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Tristan Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Cadart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Galena Kielce got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Wieczorek. After 44 minutes Herblay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Zakrzewski who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zenon Ludwiczak. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateusz Kornecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zenon Ludwiczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonin Dagorne in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Kornecki got free with Tristan Vicente in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Dagorne came free, but Zenon Ludwiczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Ludwiczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaud Konieczny's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Galena Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Wieczorek to maneuver through the defense.
