In the 6th match minute, La mano de D10S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qiu Song to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Fabricio Andrade in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La mano de D10S's Dacian Turlea. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as La mano de D10S's Jonas Hautot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Hautot's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. La mano de D10S's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dacian Turlea in the 25th minute. La mano de D10S's Sebastián Coira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonas Hautot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Hautot slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. In the 40th match minute, La mano de D10S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Puyol to maneuver through the defense. Güray Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güray Orcan. La mano de D10S's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jonas Hautot made the kick off in the second half. Güray Orcan made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dacian Turlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. La mano de D10S's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Turlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La mano de D10S's Güray Orcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 57th minute of play. La mano de D10S's Aymerick Nadal was substituted for Jonas Hautot. 66 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Aymerick Nadal came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, La mano de D10S's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Güray Orcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesc Tamari in the 75th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Güray Orcan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Portugal's Viriato Moura fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aymerick Nadal in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Andrés Iniesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Andrés Iniesta put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. Güray Orcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
