Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Podgoreanu. Marian Podgoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Marian Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Antal Valentin scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Podgoreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marian Podgoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Major Barna took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Podgoreanu. Marian Podgoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Marian Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Tudor Bărbânță made the kick off in the second half. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Marian Podgoreanu made a huge save. In the 55th minute of the match, Major Barna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marian Podgoreanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 56th minute. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Marian Podgoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Podgoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marian Podgoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Takacs Tibor. But to his dismay, Takacs Tibor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Marian Podgoreanu was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 69th minute, Balazs Lajos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marian Podgoreanu. The goal made the score 0-7. Marian Podgoreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marian Podgoreanu. Antal Valentin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 82nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Balazs Lajos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mihai Odobescu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Odobescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Major Barna in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marian Podgoreanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristi Platon charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristi Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Platon to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Marian Podgoreanu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Marian Podgoreanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC UNIREA Alba Iulia throughout the match.
