Marco Fabelo started the match with the kick off. Anderson Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Salles in the 2nd minute of the match. Giga Hertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Szarmach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wincenty Szarmach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Giga Hertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Fae Folgore's Anderson Trigo got control of the ball when Kaba Kent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giga Hertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Fabelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Fae Folgore booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaba Kent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giga Hertz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Fabelo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Marco Fabelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fae Folgore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Fabelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anderson Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaba Kent in the 32nd minute. Gilson Barreto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Fae Folgore's Marco Fabelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giga Hertz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Walmyr Salles got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mateus Tavares hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Dariusz Kluczyk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giga Hertz. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 63rd match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Basílio Nogueira got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match João do Nascimento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giga Hertz skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Dariusz Kluczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Walmyr Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Limoeiro-PE FC's Lascăr de Backer was substituted for Kaba Kent. Limoeiro-PE FC's Sidnei Velloso was substituted for Júnior Galego. After 72 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Passos. Giga Hertz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Fabelo in the 80th minute of play. When Sidnei Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limoeiro-PE FC's protests and gave Sidnei Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Velloso. Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Fabelo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Marco Fabelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fae Folgore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Barnaba Barniszke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Giga Hertz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lascăr de Backer in the 95th minute of play forced Fae Folgore's goalkeeper Anderson Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Limoeiro-PE FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fae Folgore's performance. The match ended with a win for Fae Folgore.
