Jaime Bero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Urbez in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Bertin during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Ireno. In the 31st minute of the match Tiburcio Formerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Bero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Hotz during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Hugo Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Enroque fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Enroque's Hugo Chano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Angelo Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Bero having to interfere. Hugo Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernado in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Enroque's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Oriol came free, but Pascual Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Hugo Chano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enroque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Chano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hugo Chano came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Enroque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Chano couldn't finish the play. Herminio Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugo Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Escobar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Enroque were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
