Alfons Lövgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 39th minute Dre Schipmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Marincean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Lövgren came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Capixaba's Felippe Fonseca. But to his dismay, Felippe Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 46 minutes into the game, Baltazar Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alfons Lövgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felippe Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Marian Witkowski hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, Faustão Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Capixaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahrtys Talanger the free kick. Alfons Lövgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltazar Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Bahrtys Talanger's Mattias Strömberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Basarab Marincean but with some difficulty. The supporters of Atlético Capixaba booed when Bahrtys Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Lövgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bahrtys Talanger's Alfons Lövgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fesik in the 82nd minute of play. Brain Wash made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gottfrid Stor. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Lövgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Otto Fesik put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfons Lövgren. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bahrtys Talanger players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Capixaba.
