In the 3rd minute Felippe Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Felippe Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Capixaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Rumaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Rumaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Botelho in the 21st minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Majadita FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Osasun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Fonseca in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Rumaldo saved Majadita FC from getting behind. Felippe Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Rumaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Felippe Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Rumaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Fonseca in the 46th minute of play forced Majadita FC's goalkeeper Aristides Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Atlético Capixaba were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felippe Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Fonseca in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Rumaldo saved Majadita FC from getting behind. In the 58thth minute of the game Felippe Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majadita FC's Aristides Rumaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlético Capixaba's Felippe Fonseca was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aristides Rumaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Fesik went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Oscar Blanco made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Americo Rey. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor-Borba Xerifão during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Vítor-Borba Xerifão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the game Oscar Blanco made a throw-in which Americo Rey played forward. Basarab Marincean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basarab Marincean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Orlondon in the 82nd minute of play. Atlético Capixaba's Faustão Sá quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Oscar Blanco, made in the 84th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Otto Fesik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Capixaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Atlético Capixaba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
