Fae Folgore's Teobald Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Gmoch in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Wincenty Szarmach dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jimeno Velasco, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Fabelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Szarmach came free, but Jimeno Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led MKS Legion Częstochowa's Roland Dziatkowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Teobald Kociniewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Barniszke in the 81st minute of play forced MKS Legion Częstochowa's goalkeeper Jimeno Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Kluczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
