In the 5th minute Lorenzo Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Micarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lorenzo Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Alonzo Macias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE and the Maci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maci FC booed when C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes Maci FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Piola. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Sisti got free with Jaime Bero in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Micarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Fernado in the 22nd minute of the match. If Lorenzo Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Fernado scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Micarelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 minutes, Benedicto Oriol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE and the Maci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnoldo Escobar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Maci FC booed when C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Fernado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippo Sisti in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Bero saved C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting behind. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Filippo Sisti sped through C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaime Bero. Federico Micarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Benedicto Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Micarelli having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Amos Tullio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jaime Bero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Bertin's late challenge caught a Maci FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Bertin to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Bero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Sisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Maci FC's Camillo Croce got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Amos Tullio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Sisti came free, but Jaime Bero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Micarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernado in the 93rd minute of play. Benedicto Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maci FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
