After 3 minutes, Ismael Guillerme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE and the Limoeiro-PE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaba Kent in the 5th minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Ismael Haritzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Edgar Cabral hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Rato Ligero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rato Ligero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kaba Kent sped through C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Haritzeder. In the 16th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Chaime to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes, Limoeiro-PE FC's Rato Ligero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Haritzeder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Limoeiro-PE FC reached it. Ismael Guillerme hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ismael Haritzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lascăr de Backer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Haritzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaba Kent went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Rato Ligero came free, but Ismael Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Silverio Bertin hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Lascăr de Backer came free, but Ismael Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Haritzeder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ismael Guillerme got a free kick in the 36th minute. Claudio Ireno hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Rato Ligero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Haritzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaba Kent to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Kaba Kent came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Limoeiro-PE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaba Kent couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Higinio Pereyra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Giga Hertz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limoeiro-PE FC's Walmyr Salles was substituted for Lascăr de Backer. After 68 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Favoretto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaba Kent in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Haritzeder saved C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting behind. Ismael Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Esteves in the 75th minute of play. Walmyr Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ismael Haritzeder got control of the ball when Walmyr Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Guillerme kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Giga Hertz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Pereyra in the 87th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Higinio Pereyra made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giga Hertz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Limoeiro-PE FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
