With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Arvidsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Menofta's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Koch came free, but John Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Christian Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

I Rossoneri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Vallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Bengt Påk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Menofta's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Diamanti came free, but John Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded I Rossoneri left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Menofta.
