The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Dennis Lundkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Trucios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Njurenius in the 7th minute. Kris Palmann took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Arvidsson. John Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Yevenez in the 16th minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper John Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Palmann in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Arvidsson saved Menofta from getting behind. Kris Palmann succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Mikael Njurenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Evaristo Trucios made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Eriberto Lincaleo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Kris Palmann put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of John Arvidsson. After 31 played minutes CF Eleven Lions 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Franco Cannavaro. 33 minutes into the match, CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalkeeper Evaristo Trucios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Njurenius. Kris Palmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Arvidsson having to interfere. John Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Palmann in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Kris Palmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. John Arvidsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in CF Eleven Lions 2007's zone, Bernt Ryberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Trucios came out of the goal and Bernt Ryberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half CF Eleven Lions 2007 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Njurenius to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Franco Cannavaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John Arvidsson, 0-5. 56 minutes into the game, Inocencio Yevenez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of John Arvidsson. Inocencio Yevenez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Eriberto Lincaleo in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of John Arvidsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Menofta's John Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Menofta from getting a goal against them. CF Eleven Lions 2007 made a substitution. Florentino Castillo replaced Eriberto Lincaleo. Inocencio Yevenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Menofta's John Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Palmann in the 84th minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
