Daustad's Jo Øverås proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Daustad from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Grau came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stasio Bienienda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Di Piazza made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Daustad's Mieszko Pilsudski. With a little luck, Daustad's Jo Øverås got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daustad's Mieszko Pilsudski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardo Di Piazza in the 29 minute of the game. Luis Bonet might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Chiuzbaian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bonet ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luis Bonet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Chiuzbaian was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mats Bentsen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Luc Dehaene got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivan Chiuzbaian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 41 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Mats Bentsen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Sen Yang got free with Jo Øverås in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stasio Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dacian Tilea made a great header on Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s corner, it was just that Daustad's Jo Øverås managed to reach the ball for a save.

Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute, Luis Bonet made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Chiuzbaian. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 58th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Bentsen to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jo Øverås was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Daustad booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhao Sen Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Bonet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jo Øverås stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Daustad's Jo Øverås. Jo Øverås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Stasio Bienienda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stasio Bienienda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Øverås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Daustad had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
