Brandon Rick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianluca Balla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jo Øverås made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Hamburg Fighters's Jo Øverås threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gianni Balla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bonet in the 21st minute of play. Gianluca Balla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jo Øverås skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Rick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hamburg Fighters's Gianluca Balla in 42 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jo Øverås guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Hamburg Fighters fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Hamburg Fighters's Gianluca Balla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Bonet to make the kick off. Jo Øverås made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Balla in the 89th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jo Øverås didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Bocu went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Dinu Bocu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hamburg Fighters fully deserved thier win.
