After a rather tough play, Hamburg Fighters's Gianluca Balla got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes, Feyenoord Malinovo's Eugen Petrov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Feyenoord Malinovo reached it. After 12 minutes of play, Feyenoord Malinovo's Eugen Zoch made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavlos Konstantakakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pavlos Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Zoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Rastislav Duch managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Hamburg Fighters's Rastislav Duch threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gianni Balla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25th match minute, Hamburg Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Obuchowicz to maneuver through the defense. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Németh in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Zoch in the 28th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Enrico Piccirilli in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Feyenoord Malinovo's Igor Gašpar. Eugen Zoch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavlos Konstantakakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Németh, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Feyenoord Malinovo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eugen Zoch hit a great ball. Rastislav Duch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Rick in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Dinu Bocu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rastislav Duch to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the match, Feyenoord Malinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Gianni Balla came free, but Rastislav Duch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eugen Zoch made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Balla in the 52nd minute of play forced Feyenoord Malinovo's goalkeeper Rastislav Duch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Németh in the 53rd minute of the match. Cazimir Tănăsocă kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Feyenoord Malinovo got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Tănăsocă. Wieslaw Obuchowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Németh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Pavlos Konstantakakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gustaw Pawelczyk took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavlos Konstantakakis. Pavlos Konstantakakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 94th minute, Brandon Rick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
