The audience thought a goal was coming when Toro Martínez got free with Rodrigo Lima in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Bogdan Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Mailat in the 16th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Mailat made a kick off. 50 minutes in the game Justino Elequemedo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emanuel Lucila. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
