The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Mailat came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Mailat in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Mailat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Peli was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After having played for 21 minutes, Bogdan Mailat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machados FC V2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Mailat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bogdan Mailat in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. In the 26th minute Bogdan Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Machados FC V2:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Despidida AFC:s goal. Toro Martínez walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 46th minute, Kees Harmsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match, Iurie Cobzar sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Silvestre Peli showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Silvestre Peli came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Machados FC V2's Bogdan Mailat. But to his dismay, Bogdan Mailat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Machados FC V2's goalie prevented a goal. Despidida AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Lucila in the 63rd minute. In the 71st minute Czeslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute of the match, Czeslaw Kopacz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Lima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Machados FC V2 defense, Czeslaw Kopacz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Lima. The Machados FC V2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Lima should have stopped the shot. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Czeslaw Kopacz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play.
