After 42 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Ciceron who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Laureano Cordarell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Laureano Cordarell put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Baladi to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Though ot was a great shot Cuervo Villa Mola's keeper Jurand Sidorowicz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Sidorowicz having to interfere. Inocencio Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Cuervo Villa Mola were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
