Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihăiţă Mirciulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Stoicii booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Claudiu Popescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudiu Popescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Cristian Cristea got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Podgoreanu in the 14th minute of the match. Benoit Gijselinckx charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benoit Gijselinckx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Benoit Gijselinckx. With his leg Keld Paulsen managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Stoicii's Pavel Crăciunescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudiu Popescu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Pavel Crăciunescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Pavel Crăciunescu in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 43 minutes into the match, Olav Graversen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stoicii's Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Crăciunescu made a kick off. When Bjarne Kirkegaard fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Bjarne Kirkegaard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Stoicii. Aurelian Podgoreanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keld Paulsen. 2-1. 57 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Crăciunescu in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Stoicii fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Stoicii's Pavel Crăciunescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Pavel Crăciunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudiu Popescu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Stoicii booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkel Wulff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Stoicii's Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Denmark booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoit Gijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th play minute Chris Nygaard came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. 4-4. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
