Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Remir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Saverio Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 15th minute. Águilas Poblanas's Christian Osoro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnout Reekers but with some difficulty. In the 17th minute, Marcial Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Chuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Remir in the 22nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 24th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Saverio Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Chuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute of play. Saverio Chuse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Chuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Saverio Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Saverio Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Christian Osoro got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Desiderio Handi made the kick off in the second half. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Saverio Chuse was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Chabier hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Saverio Chuse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Desiderio Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Águilas Poblanas from getting a goal against them. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute, Águilas Poblanas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 88 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Chuse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Saverio Chuse firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Chuse having to interfere. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Águilas Poblanas throughout the match.
