The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Romo in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Despite this Silvano Portillo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juli Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juli Alvarez in the 95th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
