Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Fc Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Nicodim Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes Fc Otelul Galati's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. 8 minutes into the match, Fc Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Nicodim Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fc Otelul Galati booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Ailincai during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc Otelul Galati's Ion Ailincai got a free kick in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Iacobeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Semavi Tümerdem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Otelul Galati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fc Otelul Galati's attentive Ion Ailincai managed to snatch the ball when Olav Graversen made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svenne Banan in the 23rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Semavi Tümerdem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Fc Otelul Galati got a freekick which was hit by Ion Ailincai. After some careless play in the Fc Otelul Galati defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Iacobeanu. The Fc Otelul Galati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Iacobeanu should have stopped the shot. Semavi Tümerdem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Semavi Tümerdem. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svenne Banan to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Simon Bendtsen got a free kick in the 57th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Svenne Banan came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Semavi Tümerdem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenne Banan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Otelul Galati from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Svenne Banan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Semavi Tümerdem took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semavi Tümerdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Svenne Banan took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. With a little luck, Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. If Mihnea Bouleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute of play. 4-2 became the score in the 95th minute when Chris Nygaard elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fc Otelul Galati could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
