Peru Aranzubia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Schneider went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Galishoff in the 27th minute of play forced Rubite FC's goalkeeper Peru Aranzubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Caminero struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rubite FC. Peru Aranzubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Harrer in the 34th minute of the match. Peru Aranzubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 35th minute of play. Eufrasio Patiño kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peru Aranzubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peru Aranzubia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Abasalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With 76 minutes on the clock, Christian Wallner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Austria fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Abasalo in the 85th minute of the match. Austria's Fabio Auer became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 4-2. Austria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
