After some careless play in the Menofta defense, Reinaert Leempoels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Arvidsson. The Menofta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Arvidsson should have stopped the shot. After 12 minutes, Pelle Ekegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menofta and the KFC Paal-Tervant players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Menofta getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pelle Ekegren hit a great ball. John Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Reuters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsene Vermeulen in the 18th minute of play. Menofta's John Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Verheije in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem-Jan Stocks to maneuver through the defense. Louis Reuters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Menofta defense, Rudy Verheije kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Arvidsson. The Menofta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Arvidsson should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Rudy Verheije's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Arvidsson was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Villiam Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Rudy Verheije put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of John Arvidsson. Reinaert Leempoels took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Arvidsson. John Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when KFC Paal-Tervant's Arsene Vermeulen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute, Louis Reuters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudy Verheije to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Menofta's goalkeeper John Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudy Verheije. In the 52nd minute, Eric Alebeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaert Leempoels received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. John Arvidsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Reinaert Leempoels slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Rosendal came free, but Reinaud De Schutter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Verheije in the 70th minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper John Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Paal-Tervant's Arsene Vermeulen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of John Arvidsson. That made the score 0-10 after 72 minutes of play. With a little luck, Menofta's John Arvidsson got control of the ball when Louis Reuters tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rudy Verheije had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute of the match, Louis Reuters got a very nice opportunity to score, but John Arvidsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. John Arvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Verheije's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Menofta getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ulf Mårtensson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bram Van Wontergem managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters rose to their feet, but Bram Van Wontergem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
