The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baumar Ontanilla got free with Gameiro Lenoble in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erwin Jury scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serbülent Baysan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gameiro Lenoble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baumar Ontanilla in the 33rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ricky Martin in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saint Côme de Fresné's Darren Mignot. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Vitaliy Fedchenko hit a great ball. With a little luck, Saint Côme de Fresné's Gameiro Lenoble got control of the ball when Felix Txilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ilan Tissandier fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Anderlecht Huachipato's protests and gave Ilan Tissandier a yellow card for diving instead. Steve Carrier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serbülent Baysan. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwin Jury to make the kick off. Serbülent Baysan had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Steve Carrier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dennis-Sven Piater kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Anderlecht Huachipato's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Steve Carrier was slow to take the kick. During this time Saint Côme de Fresné's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Steve Carrier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serbülent Baysan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erwin Jury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serbülent Baysan having to interfere. Erwin Jury struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Serbülent Baysan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Côme de Fresné. After 67 played minutes FC Anderlecht Huachipato got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Martin. Serbülent Baysan made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Davy Poirrier sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Felix Txilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gameiro Lenoble. Saint Côme de Fresné's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Txilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Jury in the 80th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felix Txilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gameiro Lenoble narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Saint Côme de Fresné's Davy Poirrier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Pascal Pont kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
