In the 5th match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Danış Garipbaş to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Lars Hammarberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnesta Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dogelo the free kick. Waldemar Burdzels short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Holger Vennerlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Holger Vennerlund was a little too slow when Waldemar Burdzel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Lico Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Luís Souto made the kick off in the second half. Waldemar Burdzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Gnesta Oilers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jonas Smitt hit a great ball. Holger Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Burdzel in the 53rd minute of the match. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gnesta Oilers booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Burdzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Holger Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Burdzel in the 84th minute of play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Waldemar Burdzel sped through Gnesta Oilers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Holger Vennerlund. If Waldemar Burdzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lars Hammarberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 92nd minute, Lars Hammarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dogelo had played much better football throughout.
