Wagner Kill ran back to his position shaking his head. Wagner Kill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Peletier scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Benicio Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wagner Kill to make the kick off. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wagner Kill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Deisler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as France's Frank Peletier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grzegorz Szamotulski. That made the score 3-2 after 76 minutes of play. Diablofaryd F.C.'s attentive Benicio Maurin managed to snatch the ball when Jean Bombelles made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Benicio Maurin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diablofaryd F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick.
