Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Waldemar Burdzel took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Burdzel got free with Arnout Reekers in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Verón. Manúel Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dogelo's Manúel Bento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gugu Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dogelo's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wim Wilmes sped through Dogelo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manúel Bento. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waldemar Burdzel's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Burdzel helped the player get up and apologised. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dogelo's goalie and right to Lars Meesters. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dogelo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Catarinense in the 35th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Burdzel in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Manúel Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play. Dogelo's Manúel Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Dogelo's Manúel Bento got control of the ball when David Eikelkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ahmet Danış Garipbaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manúel Bento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. After 81 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. In the 87th minute, Bruno Israel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manúel Bento was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lico Catarinense during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lico Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Manúel Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Frank Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Catarinense couldn't finish the play.
