In the 14th minute of the match, Klement Furtok got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilija Skugor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ilija Skugor didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Sungur Rehber scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Ribba's Nourredine Aggoune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Teo Gudelj hit a great ball. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. FC Ribba's Nourredine Aggoune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Börje Säv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ribba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Säv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Sungur Rehber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sungur Rehber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Ladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilija Skugor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the referee ended the match the FC Ribba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
