Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. Andrei Cerbu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wilson Andrades short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Flavio Vittori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Flavio Vittori stood somewhat misplaced when Wilson Andrade came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 6 minute. Andrei Cerbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of play. After 21 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Catarinense. Andrei Cerbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Siricio Liotta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 28 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Andrei Cerbu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Donato. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sostene Vitulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Juan do Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori, 2-1. In the 42nd minute of the match Italy got a corner. GLADIADORES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andrei Cerbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Siricio Liotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Cerbu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GLADIADORES's Ian Bastos was substituted for Marcelinho Peres. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

GLADIADORES's Sérgio Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Cerbu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu did a great save. Erasmo Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 75th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Andrei Cerbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Zanette made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. 84 minutes into the game, Erasmo Zanette threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Andrade in the 87th minute of play. Italy's Adriano Curto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The GLADIADORES players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
