An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Urbez in the 24th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Elbert Smeekes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 28 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tjeerd Zwaanswijk. Dynamo Blitz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 33rd minute Marinus Westerink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Dervaux scored 2-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tjeerd Zwaanswijk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 41st minute of play forced Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Ivan Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Blitz's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Dynamo Blitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Janpier to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dynamo Blitz getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Delmiro Janpier hit a great ball. Sander Dermaut hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tjeerd Zwaanswijk. Dynamo Blitz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 71st minute, Luciano Lauaxeta made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Edward Vanderstraeten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-4 in the 75th playminute. Dynamo Blitz made a substitution. Joshua Bannatyne replaced Ivan Urbez. Luciano Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Lauaxeta in the 87th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a huge save. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Bannatyne in the 94th minute of play. The Dynamo Blitz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
