An unexpectedly hard shot by Paz Munaya in the 8th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 11th minute of play. Cauan Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. After 15 minutes, Remy Dupuy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Renascer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Souza having to interfere. A hard shot by Luisão Favoretto from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Maxime Durand's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Cauan Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Renascer's Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Maxime Durand as he didn't even see the shot coming. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yi Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauan Linhares's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Edmundo Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Edmundo Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Cauan Linhares got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Edmundo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Souza made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Cauan Linhares hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Donato Souza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Dupuy in the 93rd minute of play. When Quentin Beaux fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Quentin Beaux a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Beaux to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Abraão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. France's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Renascer had won, even though France had held more of the ball.
