When Artur Quintas fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN LORENZO FC's protests and gave Artur Quintas a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Quintas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. After 41 minutes, Major Barna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna.

SAN LORENZO FC's Hernan Ixidor was substituted for Dalmacio Gaitano. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. In the 55th minute Lisandro Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Lisandro Nuñez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dario Astigar could save by the left post. In the 69th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. Ernie Siegel, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hegedus Henrik got free with Dario Astigar in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balazs Lajos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Artur Quintas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Lopez's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Major Barna came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dario Astigar could save by the left post. After 92 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Astigar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lisandro Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
