The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Chioda got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Stelian Popeangă notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yan Ran Yan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Chioda in the 18th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Chioda took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 25 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Denis Dostal. After 26 minutes of play, As Melfi 1929's Davide La Marca made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bozo Bonk kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Federico Chioda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davide La Marca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Chioda took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Erik Jilek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Bulla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Federico Chioda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
53 minutes into the game, Federico Chioda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Rezek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eraldo Bulla. As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by As Melfi 1929's Federico Chioda. But to his dismay, Federico Chioda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 63 minutes into the game, As Melfi 1929's Federico Chioda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After 69 minutes of play, As Melfi 1929's Federico Chioda made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, Stelian Popeangă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelian Popeangă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide La Marca in the 78th minute of play. Federico Chioda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Stelian Popeangă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The As Melfi 1929 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Stelian Popeangă took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. In the 93rd minute, Federico Chioda made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Chioda went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that As Melfi 1929 were the better team. As Melfi 1929's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
