Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcu Surdilă took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marin Cozac hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Bertram Svenningsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ghenadie Damian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A hard, long distance shot from Marin Cozac flew over the goal. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ribanna FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Marcu Surdilă came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ribanna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Surdilă couldn't finish the play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bjarne Kirkegaard during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ribanna FC made a substitution. Cristian Bitănescu replaced Marin Cozac. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Marcu Surdilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Denmark's Olav Graversen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ghenadie Damian was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. When Costel Bădilescu came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Ribanna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Bădilescu couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghenadie Damian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ribanna FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Surdilă in the 62nd minute of the match. Ciprian Luican kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ghenadie Damian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 67th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard's late challenge caught a Ribanna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Nygaard helped the player get up and apologised. Chris Nygaard kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ghenadie Damian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghenadie Damian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th play minute Chris Nygaard came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ghenadie Damian. 1-3. After some careless play in the Ribanna FC defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ghenadie Damian. The Ribanna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ghenadie Damian should have stopped the shot. Ghenadie Damian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olav Graversen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ghenadie Damian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Denmark eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
