Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Vörös Henrik managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 11th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Martin Mutumba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Alessandro Micucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Micucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Mutumba got free with Fodor Daniel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 41st minute of play. Major Barna scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Ekrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Balazs Lajos struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Marcus Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Marcus Ekrot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Hungary booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Van Lint didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål was substituted for Alessandro Micucci. In the 77th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Van Lint to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Stål in the 79th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hungary players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vykans Vikingar.
