But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Camilleri couldn't finish the play. Severino Bueno in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celedonio Perrando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Celedonio Perrando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.

Eleven Young Elephants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Camilleri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celedonio Perrando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
