The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Carlo Camilleri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Severino Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bueno came free, but Marin Duna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Perez to maneuver through the defense. RO Army V55's Marin Duna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Camilleri in the 18th minute of play. Marin Duna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Zahovič in the 26th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Marin Duna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Darren Carabott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marin Duna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Eleven Young Elephants's Zlatko Zahovič nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marin Duna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 32 minutes, Severino Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eleven Young Elephants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marin Duna came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Young Elephants's Zlatko Zahovič. But to his dismay, Zlatko Zahovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Severino Bueno scored 0-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marin Duna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The RO Army V55 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eleven Young Elephants were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Bueno to make the kick off. Severino Bueno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Marin Duna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. RO Army V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Zlatko Zahovič scored to the left of an out of position Marin Duna, making the score, 0-7. In the 63rd minute, Severino Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eleven Young Elephants fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Eleven Young Elephants's António Silva was substituted for Daan Jurásek. With his leg Marin Duna managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Eleven Young Elephants's Severino Bueno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. RO Army V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Zlatko Zahovič scored to the left of an out of position Marin Duna, making the score, 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Zlatko Zahovič kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marin Duna. That made the score 0-10 in the 74 minute of play. Aaron Tanti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Katsadramis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Duna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Zahovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Darren Carabott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marin Duna. Darren Carabott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Qu Peng Kang hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Carlo Camilleri came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Eleven Young Elephants fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Camilleri couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutichios Bletsas to maneuver through the defense. Marin Duna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Zahovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. RO Army V55's Marin Duna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save RO Army V55 from getting a goal against them. Eleven Young Elephants played a much better game than RO Army V55 and deserved their victory. The RO Army V55 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
