Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Willy Stieler in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Lëtzebuerg's Fabian Hoffmann. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vahur Haas's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahur Haas in the 6th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Vahur Haas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Lëtzebuerg's Vahur Haas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, Vahur Haas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vahur Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Vahur Haas might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahur Haas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute Vahur Haas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. If Vahur Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Bittencourt having to interfere. Vahur Haas took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Vahur Haas sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Vahur Haas might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahur Haas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 47th minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Jorge Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The wind increased when Vahur Haas made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Lëtzebuerg's Fabian Hoffmann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahur Haas in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Vahur Haas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Vahur Haas notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Vahur Haas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lëtzebuerg's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Bittencourt came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahur Haas in the 64th minute of play. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vahur Haas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes, Willy Stieler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the FC Lëtzebuerg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches was substituted for Vahur Haas. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Miguel Sanches notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Miguel Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Sanches couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Miguel Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Vitalij Káňa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitalij Káňa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitalij Káňa to maneuver through the defense. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
