In the 5th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Ling Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Porziano Marchitelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE CLUB the free kick. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhivko Húntev in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Xiao Chen Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the THE CLUB defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guo Ling Nan. The THE CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guo Ling Nan should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, THE CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Guo Ling Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after THE CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. Guo Ling Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Guo Ling Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of play. Carmine Mancinelli made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guo Ling Nan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, THE CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Guo Ling Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leocadio Hebia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Siricio Liotta. After the first half Italy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guo Ling Nan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Guo Ling Nan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Guo Ling Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carmine Mancinelli in the 63 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, THE CLUB's Dancho Chochov got a free kick in the 64th minute. Guo Ling Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mincho Robledo in the 69th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, THE CLUB's Mincho Robledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Guo Ling Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 73rd minute of the match. THE CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina scored to the left of an out of position Guo Ling Nan, making the score, 1-3. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leocadio Hebia in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Ling Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Guo Ling Nan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. THE CLUB's Guo Ling Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 90th minute of play. Guo Ling Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of THE CLUB booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siricio Liotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Preslav Famparski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Italy played a much better game than THE CLUB and deserved their victory. The THE CLUB players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
