Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Dimmock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhys Dimmock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tytus Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhys Dimmock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Mugurel Balaeț got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Leonardo Lane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Belgium's attentive Nigel Devos managed to snatch the ball when Zack Grier made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. 51 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rhys Dimmock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54th minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Tytus Banaszak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Banaszak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Banaszak came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Tytus Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Dimmock having to interfere. Sergey Krasinskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Daron Joseph left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zamalek FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daron Joseph in the 93rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sergey Krasinskiy came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergey Krasinskiy couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
