The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Mattias Löfdahl made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Löfdahl got free with Maxime Durand in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remy Dupuy during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of REAL MADRID FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remy Dupuy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Jacquemet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 14th minute of play. REAL MADRID FC's Billy Jacquemet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 15th minute of play. Filipp Tihonovich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Mattias Löfdahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Camille Baume notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of REAL MADRID FC's Billy Jacquemet. Billy Jacquemet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mattias Löfdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Mattias Löfdahl from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. Billy Jacquemet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Frank Peletier made a precise shot to the right of Billy Jacquemet. REAL MADRID FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 43 minutes into the game, REAL MADRID FC's Filipp Tihonovich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 46th minute of the game Jean Bombelles made a throw-in which Robert Chapuis played forward. After 47 minutes, Aigimios Fotopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL MADRID FC and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aigimios Fotopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Jacquemet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the REAL MADRID FC defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Jacquemet. The REAL MADRID FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Jacquemet should have stopped the shot. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Billy Jacquemet made a huge save. Quentin Beaux kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Andrés Maroto lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for REAL MADRID FC! David Barbier placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Billy Jacquemet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 70th minute of the match. Aigimios Fotopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. Camille Baume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Billy Jacquemet having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Camille Baume fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Billy Jacquemet. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and France's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. REAL MADRID FC's Billy Jacquemet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save REAL MADRID FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to REAL MADRID FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Iphikles Kapsimalles hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID FC's goalkeeper Billy Jacquemet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Billy Jacquemet made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Jacquemet. REAL MADRID FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5.
