Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Academia Monte Gordo's Christian Westerstrand started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Zhen Hong having to interfere. In the 7th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia Monte Gordo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. David Barbier made a great header on France's corner, it was just that Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong managed to reach the ball for a save. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Westerstrand showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 16th minute of play. Christian Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Christian Westerstrand sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 27 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Westerstrand came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Fabrício Lustosa put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 36th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Westerstrand's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Christian Westerstrand in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maxime Durand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Luciano Tiso in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Robert Chapuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Chapuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Academia Monte Gordo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Codrin Zamfira in the 62nd minute. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Adélio Infante replaced Christian Westerstrand. Maxime Durand came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Monte Gordo's Adélio Infante. But to his dismay, Adélio Infante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adélio Infante in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 80 minutes, Adélio Infante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adélio Infante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boruc Brysz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Adélio Infante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Luciano Tiso threw the ball into play from the sideline. France's Henry Robiquet quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Academia Monte Gordo fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
