The Franko Armani was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Teodelina FC's Franko Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aranda in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Buinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. Siro Porfiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. Omar Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Franko Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Victor Errapel hit a great ball. When Omar Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Spain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Toledo couldn't finish the play. David Aranda's late challenge caught a Teodelina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Aranda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Aranda to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Adria Bielsa might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franko Armani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
