Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off and thus started the match. Netherlands's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kraig Fred 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Kraig Fred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kraig Fred scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 34th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kraig Fred sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Fred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere. In the 44th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 46th minute of play.

If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Eikelkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. When Kraig Fred came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kraig Fred couldn't finish the play. Estudiantes de América's Luciano Sidoro was substituted for Flavio Iraunkor. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 67th minute. Luciano Sidoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Sidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Trasatti in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Concetto Trasatti notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wim Wilmes scored 3-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Ranolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estudiantes de América were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
