Benedito Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rik Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe da Silva hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mijdrecht Maffia getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Peter Homan hit a great ball. Rik Numan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Rik Numan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Blanc to make the kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Umberto Dionísio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rik Numan having to interfere. Mauro Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rik Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephan van Fessum kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Anísio Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. In the 64th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito Mineiro. When Castanheiro SC's Nilson Veloso in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rik Numan was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Benedito Mineiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedito Mineiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 90th minute of play. Castanheiro SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benedito Mineiro in the 91st minute. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Célio Vianna hit a great ball. When the match was over Castanheiro SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mijdrecht Maffia throughout the match.
