The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mats Jakobsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Stühling went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Oost in the 7th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Mats Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Toni Stühling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Numan having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Juoksengi got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Persson. Kjell Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rik Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gertjan Theisens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Juoksengi defense, Toni Stühling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Jakobsson. The Juoksengi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. Egon Andberg charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Andberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mats Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Blanc, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Mats Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Oost, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Persson came free, but Rik Numan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Stephan van Fessum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Kjell Persson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Marcel Blanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcel Blanc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Jakobsson. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Mijdrecht Maffia's Marcel Blanc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Jakobsson. Mats Jakobsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Blanc got free with Mats Jakobsson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes of play Juoksengi's Egon Andberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Juoksengi getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Egon Andberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Stühling in the 78th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Mats Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Jakobsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Blanc in the 80th minute. A collision led to Juoksengi getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Svante Bröms hit a great ball. Michael Kuijsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Jakobsson having to interfere. Gerard Oost hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Gerard Oost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Oost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kjell Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juoksengi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rik Numan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Juoksengi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mijdrecht Maffia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
