Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Umberto Dionísio started the match with the kick off. Magno Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Narciso de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasilino's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 10th minute of the match. Umberto Dionísio took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean da Silva. Jean da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Brasilino's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Umberto Dionísio 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umberto Dionísio got free with Jean da Silva in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Benedito Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudinho Alagoano hit a great ball. Anísio Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Brasilino's Jean da Silva got control of the ball when Anísio Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Alagoano got free with Jean da Silva in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Amílton Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45thth minute of the game Narciso de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Benedito Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jean da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Castanheiro SC's Fellipe da Silva pulled a muscle in his leg after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Eduardo Maranhense during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Castanheiro SC's Júnior Alagoano was substituted for Fellipe da Silva. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Maranhense hit a great ball. Benjamin Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jean da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Nilson Esteves notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães. Pedrinho Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes, Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean da Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. After 78 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Magno Pereira made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean da Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amílton Sena struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pedrinho Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasilino. When Amílton Sena came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Brasilino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Sena couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Narciso de Carvalho. When the referee ended the match the Castanheiro SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
