After 4 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Umberto Dionísio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedito Mineiro in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Berger in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Pereira in the 31st minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Oscar Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Benedito Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 40th minute, Anselmo Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Benedito Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Nilson Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedito Mineiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oscar Tande. That made the score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Nilson Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 64 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Mineiro came free, but Oscar Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christiano Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fábio Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Luís Fábio Andrade hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Benedito Mineiro, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Anselmo Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pedrinho Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luisinho Seco hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Braga. In the 89th minute, Castanheiro SC's Nilson Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The 100 Chance supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Castanheiro SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Castanheiro SC.
