Radomiak Radom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hieronim Mentis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes Radomiak Radom's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Eliseo Cutri made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Radomiak Radom's Hieronim Mentis managed to reach the ball for a save. The corner led Italy's Deodato Magliozzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Hieronim Mentis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 37th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Robert Wnukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 77th minute, Leonard Mondrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Wnukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hieronim Mentis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Italy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Radomiak Radom to leave the ground with a draw.
